Gosh I am so busy I can not commit myself to blogging.  I am currently enrolled in College full time, taking care of the two kiddos.  Tyler is 6 years old and Sophie-Anne is 8 months already.  In the summer I start my internship at a preschool!  So I am excited about that.  I decided it might be easier in my free time to post videos on youtube.  So a lot of my future blog posts might just be about my videos.  Currently my camera is broken.  The lens for my dslr is broke.  I need a new one and we have no money what-so-ever for it.  So I am doing what I can by posting pictures on facebook using my webcam.  I'll post a few of those now to let you see what we have been up to.  And I will link you to my newest youtube video.  You can follow me on there too.

Okay so here are some of pictures that we have been taking.  Again, sorry for the cruddy quality my dslr is broken so these are webcam pictures:

I told them to smile and this is what I get! LOL

Sophie-Anne in her Mickey and Minnie shirt.

She is so pretty!

My goofballs.

Sophie-Anne gets to eat food while Mommy and Daddy work out!

Tyler was pushing his sister around in this bin!

In this picture Tyler was doing insanity work out.
My husband and I have been doing it for three weeks now!

Playing with her sensory bottles, I will have to make a blog post about those!

And here is the link to my newest youtube video!

Perfectly Posh beauty Products review!

Perfectly Posh beauty Products review!

Perfectly Posh Sugar FIX {All-Over-Your-Body-Sugar Scrub Review

First let me tell you about Perfectly Posh.  They make all natural body and beauty products.  They have lotions, hand cremes, hand soap, foot scrubs, bath bombs, Lip balms and lip gloss, and even spray mists.  Woah!  That is a lot of products.  I actually won the Sugar Fix body scrub on their face book page.  I was surprised because I am not known to win anything! lol.  I love taking baths so I was happy to give this product a try.  It is a thicker substance so I applied it onto my loofah first.  It scrubbed right up and was easy to apply.  I found that I actually preferred to use my hands to apply it though.  It smells so delish, just like candy!

Here is the description on the back:  Hands in,  Then hands on. Scrub.  Great for in the shower or before you jump in.  This sweet sugar, honey, and almond body scrub will brighten, sweeten, and make your skin glow.  Great for all over pampering every time you need a sugar fix.  It's candy every body wants.

---

I would prefer to apply it while in the water because the consistency is thick.  But I love it.  My skin feels soft and I smell great.  The container size I have is 9 oz. 257 g.  And it seems to be enough to last me a long time.  This is my first time trying a product from Perfectly Posh and I really liked it a lot.  My friend Sherry Smith is a Perfectly Posh Consultant and she is going to be sending me a few samples of their other products so I can give you all a few more reviews to let you know how the other products are.  I would recommend this body scrub!

Edited to add:  I was told that a lot of people like to use the sugar scrub for shaving!  You rub it on and then shave your legs, etc.  =)

If you would like to give it a try yourself here are Sherry's pages so you can contact her or browse what she has for you.

(I was not paid, or asked to do this review by Perfectly Posh.  I won the product on their facebook page
and I liked it so I decided to review them!)

Comment on here and let me know if you like it!!  Or what other type of products you would like me to review.

Sleeping through the night!

I just wanted to make a short quick blog post about Sophie-Anne's sleeping!  (for future reference).
So this is a more personal and most likely boring blog post to anyone else.

At night Sophie-Anne usually goes to sleep around 7-8 pm.  Then she wakes up once around 3-4 and then goes back to sleep until about 7-8 and then she is up for the day.  She naps of course during the day but that is her night schedule.  It's been nice getting some sleep.

I also believe she is already showing signs of teething.  She is chewing on her hand a lot, and drooling.  She's a really easy going baby.  She doesn't need to be held all the time, she actually likes sitting in her boppy seat or propped on a pillow next to me.  She loves watching tv whenever I am watching it.  The only time she is really fussy is when she is hungry.  She is 2 months, and 2 weeks old!  Time is going by fast already so I am trying to enjoy the baby stage as long as I can!

Halloween & cake!

Halloween was alright!  We did not stay out too late.  A few days before we went to my Father in-law's house and that was fun.  Justin and I made a cake before we went and it ended up being really good!  Here is how our cake turned out:

This second picture is not ours but it is what the inside of ours looked like.  I did not get to take a picture of our cake inside:
It was a really simple recipie and I found it HERE  Cooking With Sugar is her website, and  I LOVE IT.  She even makes videos so you get the step by step directions!!

Here are pictures of my Son & daughter on Halloween:

Sophie-Anne was a cat, and Tyler was Iron man.

I hope everyone else had a fun Halloween!

Dollar tree finds

I went to the dollar store because I wanted more baskets to put my things in to keep them organized.  We are still really tight on money especially with the newborn.  So the dollar store will have to hold me over!

First my inspiration came from I heart Organizing

Her art caddy is amazing!  I hope to find one at target one day.
I found a cheap caddy at the dollar store and knew I had to make one
for my son Tyler...

It just has misc art things for him to carry around and hopefully keep everything together!
----------------

I had bought a second art caddy and I got this "cough and carry" idea from Darling Doodles

Her idea was to fill the caddy with things
you need when you have a cold/sickness.
That way you do not have to keep getting up/asking for what you need.
Everything is all in the caddy for you to bring with you around the house.
Here is mine:

I added couch drops, tissues, cold medicine, mirgane medicine, "anti sick spray" to prevent colds, hand sanitizer, and some vicks.
--------------
I also grabbed two pink baskets.  One I am using for my lotions on my night table (I did not take a picture of it) and then the other I am using for the shower.  It has my shampoo, conditioner, and body wash:

Also shaving gel!
------------
I also grabbed some beads for the glass bowl in my bathroom:

-------------------------------------
So it doesn't take a lot of money to organize.
If you are down on cash like us then you can use what you have, or
go to the dollar store.
---------------
The last thing I did was put car organizers in my car!
I got this idea from Decor-ganize
I did not take a picture of my own but here is a picture of what she did:
I did the exact same thing!
In mine I have, diapers, bandaids/medical supplies, an extra outfit for Sophie-Anne, and a pacifier.
-----------
What are some things that you have done that are cheap AND crafty??  I'd love to hear more ideas!

Sophie-Anne 1.5 months

I am trying to get into a routine now that is has been over 6 weeks.  I still have not really got there yet.  It's hard to go from one kid to two.  I don't know how I am making it through!  I manage to do the basics but still feel like everything is not perfect like it should be.  Sophie-Anne is doing great.  Tyler is such an amazing big brother.  I couldn't be happier with them.  I'll get back to my normal blog posts about organizing and occasional Sophie posts now.  I already have a post ready about my dollar tree finds.  But for now here are some pictures of Sophie-Anne!

Sophie-Anne

So I completely slacked during my pregnancy on updating my blog.
I should have figured it was going to happen but near the end I was just so miserable!
Sophie-Anne is here!!  Here is my labor story:
------
On September 6'th I had a dr. appointment to be checked.  He checked me and noticed I was far effaced and I was actually having contractions there.  He decided to send us to the hospital.  We pick Tyler up early from school and drop him off with Justin's brother until Justin's mom got off of work to pick him up.  We stopped at home and got our hospital bags and then arrived at the hospital.  Things were SLOW once we got there.  They were saying my contractions were weak etc.  When the dr showed up (hours later) he decided to pop my water to get labor started.  Then I started getting PAINFUL contractions I was screaming through them so they came in and gave me the epidural and I was shaking!!  Eventually they gave me a low dose of pitocin.  I was scared because when I had the pitocin with Tyler his heart rate dipped and I had the emergency c-section, and this time I was trying to the VBAC.  Well her heart rate dipped..and everyone was rushing around me.  My dr kept apologizing saying that we tried, but I ended up needed the emergency c-section.  At 1:22 am on September 7'th 2011 Sophie-Anne was born.  She was screaming when she came out, and has not cried at all (besides fussy diaper changes) since.  When I had my son I was put to sleep during my c-section and woke up later.  I did not want that this time and I calmed myself this time and was so relaxed it was not a horrible experience.  It was still bad because it was not what I wanted, and I was scared. But having Justin there calmed me down, and the anesthesiologist was awesome he was next to me the whole time calming me as well asking me if I was alright.  Anyways, Sophie-Anne Marie weighed 6 pounds 10 oz at birth!!  She is so adorable.  She was jaundiced so we had to stay an extra day at the hospital, we were there for 5+ days.  It was horrible at the hospital.  The nurses all had different opinions.  One says do this, the other says do that.  Then one nurse was just rude overall.  We had one GREAT nurse who worked in the nursery and we loved her.  I don't think I will deliver at that hospital again because of the nurses though.
---------
Now she is 6 days old, almost a week old.  I am stunned at how blessed we are.  I know how most newborns are and she is the exact opposite.  She would literally sleep through most the night if we did not wake her for her feedings.  When she is awake she looks around with her big blue eyes and is so calm.  She never really cries at all.  She loves her daddy a lot.  Justin has been great with everything.  At the hospital he did everything for me, and I mean EVERYTHING.  And at home he is just as great.  Taking care of Sophie-Anne and me.  Because of my c-section it is hard for me to get around and do as much as I would like.  And he really has been amazing.  I could not have asked for a better husband.  Big brother Tyler loves his little sister.  He is always giving her kisses and hugs, and he even changed a diaper by himself!!  As for me I feel blessed to have an amazing family and I am just so full of joy and happiness.  Physically I am still in a bit of pain from the c-section.  My scar hurts, but things are getting better.  I can't wait to be able to get back to cleaning more and doing my normal routines.
----
Here are some pictures since this was such a long post (it's more of a record for myself to look back and remember too!)
